Fare bros History

Fare bros have a rich history that dates back to early 2008 when Fare, Inc. was established by one of the Fare brothers. The other brother launched Fare Gaming, a company focused on making, designing, and testing video games. Fare, Inc. specialized in creating cutting-edge programs and providing IT support, which allowed them to work with many companies throughout Michigan.

Over the course of a decade, Fare, Inc. developed a wide range of innovative programs and offered IT support services that helped many businesses improve their operations. However, as the company continued to evolve, the brothers recognized the potential benefits of combining their expertise and resources to form a more comprehensive and unified organization. In 2018, Fare, Inc. was dissolved, and in early 2023 Fare Brothers emerged as a new parent company that oversees a portfolio of technology-focused subsidiaries, including Fare Gaming, Fare Programming, and Fare Brothers Media.

Today, Fare bros is committed to pushing the boundaries of technology and innovation, building on the legacy established by Fare, Inc. and its founders. Fare Brothers Timeline:

Fare, Inc. - 2008 - 2018

  • 2008 - Fare, Inc. was established -- The steppingstone of what would become Fare Brothers in 2023.
  • 2010 - Fare, Inc. purchased Irepair4cheap LLC -- established in 2006 as a small Apple Repair Company (Irepair4cheap, LLC would become a subsidiary of Fare, Inc until its closing in 2013).
  • 2012 - Fare, Inc. and Fare Programming merged to become one company under Fare, Inc.
  • 2013 - Fare, Inc closes Irepair4cheap llc.
  • 2016 - Fare, Inc. becomes known as just "Fare"
  • 2018 - Fare is dissolved & the planning for Fare Brothers is set into motion.

Fare Programming - 2008-2012

  • 2008 - Fare Programming is established.
  • 2010 - Purchased & absorbed Siren Programming (Siren Programming 2003-2010).
  • 2012 - Fare, Inc and Fare Programming merged to become one company under Fare, Inc.

Fare Gaming - 2008 - Present

  • 2008 - Fare Gaming is established.
  • 2018 - Fare Gaming purchased ZJF Gaming (2014 - 2019).
  • 2019 - Fare Gaming absorbed ZJF Gaming.
  • 2023 - Fare Gaming became a subsidiary of Fare Brothers.

Fare Brothers - 2023 - Present

2023

  • Fare Brothers was established.
  • Fare Programming (2008-2012) returns as a subsidiary of newly established Fare Brothers.
  • Fare Gaming becomes a subsidiary of Fare Brothers.
  • Fare Tech Deals is established as part of Fare Brothers.
  • Fare Brothers Media is established, becoming the fourth subsidiary of Fare Brothers.

2024

  • Rally Performance (est 2017) becomes a subsidiary of Fare Brothers.
  • Fare Brothers Garage is established as part of Fare Brothers.
  • Outdoorsman's Outlet is established as the 7th subsidiary of Fare Brothers - View Website
